Start of the journey

So it started off with driving to Calgary with my mom and her friend, Nadia. Everything was all good until we hit Edmonton, then mom missed a turn and we started to head towards Saskatchewan instead of Calgary... She kept talking about Vegreville and the giant Ukrainian egg, so when we hit Vegreville we stopped to take pictures. After that, we continued on our journey and it wasn't until about 15 minutes later that she realized we might be headed in the wrong direction! All of the signs kept saying Lloydminster and no one really clued in that we were clearly headed the wrong direction. So after this 15 minutes or so, mom decided to stop and she called Stephen to find out where the heck we were! Turns out we were going almost the exact opposite direction we wanted to, oops! Our little detour extended our trip by about 2 hours!
